How are Concrete Countertops Made?
Answer: XS PROcast is typically “poured-in-place”, or poured directly into a form and then finished by hand using a trowel or similar method. The material may also be applied using a “hand packed” method to create the look of veins or voids in the substrate.
Why Use Concrete as a Countertop Substrate?
Answer: Concrete is great for countertops as more cost effective solutions over Granite and Quartz. It also allows for more variety in shape, color, and molds, giving you a truly unique look.
How long do I have to leave XS PROcast concrete poured in the mold?
Answer: In most climates, 2-5 hours is sufficient.
